industrial visit to Haier Company for B.Tech (GNC) second-year students

The Department of “Training & Placement Office” organized an industrial visit to Haier Company for B.Tech (GNC) second-year students on 25th November 2025. The visit aimed to provide practical exposure to modern manufacturing processes and smart appliance production. Students explored key sections of Haier’s facility, including automated assembly lines, quality testing units, and material handling systems. They observed how appliances such as refrigerators and washing machines are designed, assembled.

Haier’s engineering team interacted with the students, offering insights into product innovation, quality standards, and industry expectations. The visit helped students connect classroom concepts with real industrial practices and enhanced their understanding of manufacturing and engineering operations. Overall, it was an enriching and informative experience.

This industrial visit was organized under the esteemed guidance of Hon’ble Chairman Sir Shri B.L. Gupta Ji, Director Sir- Prof. (Dr.) Ranjit Varma, Dean - Mr. Ayush Sharma, and HOD - Mr. Shiv Kumar.

It was further supported by Resource Person Ms. Payal (HR), Placement officer Ms. Leena Tiwari, and Assistant Professor Mr. Hardesh kumar & Ms. Sheetal Rani.
