TEACHING METHODOLOGY

• Classroom teaching: Along with the conventional method of chalk and the talk, other enhanced state of the art technological tools such as LCDs, OHPs etc. are used for teaching students enrolled in the B.Com programme at GN Group of Institute, Greater Noida. The case study method is used to bring out the analytical skills of the students. Student presentations are encouraged in order to improve their confidence, negotiation and communication skills. This is supplemented further with periodical assignments.
• Holistic education: Holistic education is imparted for all-round development of the students. Utmost priority is given for improving the analytical and communication skills of the students.
• Guest Lectures: Subject experts are invited to enrich the knowledge of the students on contemporary issues.

STUDENT TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

• Induction and Orientation: Students who join the B.Com programme come from various academic backgrounds. To bridge the gap in the learning process, Math classes are held for science, commerce and arts students apart from giving them the best training in basic accounting principles.
• Workshops and Seminars: Students are encouraged to participate in intra, inter college seminars and workshops conducted frequently.

• Mentoring: Each faculty has been assigned a set of students for mentoring, in order to provide counseling and guidance.
