Prof. (Dr.) Devi Krishan Pal Singh has completed his Ph.D in Electrical Energy Systems in 2006 from IIT Roorkee backed by M.tech from G.B Pant University in 2001. Apart from that Dr. Devi Krishan has a vast collection of awards & recognition. He is a dedicated, resourceful and goal-driven professional educator with diverse experience and strong track record fostering child-centered curriculum and student creativity as a Director, Dean and HOD over his tenure of career. A self-directed, action oriented professional with over 26 year’s of experience in education and community service. Dependable mentor with collaborative leadership skills to build solid relationships with students, parents and faculty. He has an excellent record of publishing a number of research papers in national and international publications along with participation in National & International conferences as well.

He has an excellent record of publishing research papers in national and international publications along with participation in National & International conferences as well, like participated as Technical Program member of “ICRITO 2016” (International Conference on Reliabilty, Infocom Technologies& Optimization) coordinated by Amity University in 2016.

B.Tech. in CSE is a broad and flexible degree program with the curriculum specifically designed to reflect the depth and breadth of computer science. Expert members from Academia and Industry provide inputs in introducing specialized courses in the curriculum to suit industry needs. The department has well-qualified and experienced faculty who excel in their chosen field. The faculty has undergone training and is certified through various Faculty Development Programs. The CSE Department regularly organizes seminars, student symposia, short-term training program and value added courses. This provides a wide range of opportunities for faculty and students to bring out their potential and innovative skills in a variety of fields.

The Degree program is spread over four years with two semesters in each year. Students study five theory courses and work on assignments in two or three laboratory courses in each semester. The first year of engineering is common to all disciplines. The students learn basic courses in Computer Engineering, such as Discrete Structures, Data Structures, Digital Logic and Microprocessors in second year engineering. The courses such as Data Bases, Software Engineering, Signal Processing, Computer Networks and Theory of Computation are offered in third year engineering. Students present seminar on topic as per their interest and also carry out a mini project in a group of 3/4 students. In the final year engineering students not only study core courses such as Algorithms, Compilers, Object Oriented, Modeling, Advanced Computer Architecture, Distributed Operating Systems, but also choose elective courses as per their interest. Students’ also carryout project work geared to the needs of the industry.

• Department of Computer Science and Engineering has organized faculty development programming on “Machine Learning using Python/R” .

The campus is decked with a serene environment, well-tuned for the students and their needs. It has state-of-the-art laboratories and equipment for all the courses we offer.

In GNC, Lecture Hall and rooms are architecturally and aesthetically well designed and are well ventilated. In addition, to traditional blackboards and to make the teaching-learning process multidimensional, Multimedia over-head projectors and LCD projectors are used. Moreover, the faculty adopts not simply the traditional lecture methodology. Various other audio-visual aids are also used to enrich the teaching learning processes.

LIBRARY

Library plays a very healthy role throughout our life. It provides a very calm and disciplined atmosphere which helps students to maintain a good concentration on their studies and healthy environment for learning as well as making notes or completing an assignment. GNC Library provides fully air-conditioned & Wi-Fi enabled world-class learning environment. The College has a well-stocked library having nearly 5850 of Text and Reference books with 641 titles and a good number of (20) National / International Journals; magazines and daily newspapers. The library has very rich collections of e-books, online resources to fulfil the research and teaching need of the academic community and audio-video facilities are also provided in the library to facilitate the research and teaching learning activities. There are 04 total numbers of Newspapers. The library has been using the Campus ERP library management software for the library housekeeping operations.
