In a significant move toward bridging the gap between academia and the rapidly evolving tech industry, Greater Noida College (GNC) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a *Microsoft Technologies Center of Excellence (CoE)* on its campus.

This initiative, aimed at empowering students with industry-aligned technical skills, was launched under the esteemed guidance of Shri B.L. Gupta ji (Honourable Chairman, GN Group of Institutes), and leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Ranjit Varma (Director – GNC).

The CoE will serve as a hub for advanced learning, offering specialized training and global certification programs from Microsoft and Certiport. The program is uniquely structured to benefit students across all semesters of B.Tech, ensuring they are "industry-ready" by the time they graduate.
 

Key Highlights of the Partnership:

1. Global Certifications: Students will have direct access to Microsoft-partnered certifications, validated through a Certiport Authorized Testing Center (CATC).
2. Cutting-Edge Curriculum: Training modules will focus on high-demand domains such as Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, and Software Development.
3. Hybrid Learning: The program includes instructor-led sessions in online, offline, and hybrid modes, complemented by hands-on lab work and real-time projects.
4. Faculty Development: The MoU also includes Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) to ensure the teaching staff is updated with the latest technological trends.

Speaking on the occasion,Dr. Varma, emphasized that the Center of Excellence is not just a training facility but a gateway to global career opportunities. "Our focus is on outcome-based learning. By integrating these certifications into our regular academic structure, we are ensuring that every GNC student possesses the digital proficiency required by top-tier global employers," he stated.

The establishment of the Microsoft CoE marks a new era for Greater Noida College, reinforcing its commitment to providing world-class technical education and fostering innovation through structured industry partnerships.
