What to Expect from the Upcoming JEE Main 2025 Exam?

Since JEE Mains is one of the most competitive engineering entrance tests in India, it is expected to remain at the same high level as in prior years.

Difficulty level

JEE Mains questions have traditionally ranged in difficulty from moderate to demanding, and 2025 is predicted to follow suit by emphasizing application-based topics and key concepts.

However, because of modifications to the question distribution, the addition of new problem categories, and the general intricacy of the test, the level of difficulty may differ slightly from year to year.

Changes in Exam Pattern and Structure

The JEE Mains exam's basic format has changed compared to last year. NTA made modifications last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic to help students better prepare for the exam, including adding optional numerical questions with no negative marking which is no longer applicable. Numerical questions will resume to the standard of 5 mandatory questions with negative markings.

Students aspiring for the JEE Main 2025 exam will have to attend all 25 questions in each section including 5 numerical questions. No further changes were made.

Computer-based testing (CBT) is here to stay which necessitates proficiency in online exam interfaces and time management techniques from students.

Future Trends and Readiness

Changes in the education sector, such as the introduction of the National Education Policy (NEP) and any curriculum modifications that the NTA may introduce, may have an impact on the JEE Main 2025 level.

But the fundamental idea behind JEE Main 2025, which is to assess analytical, problem-solving, and application skills, is probably not going to alter.
