IPU CET 2026 Exam Dates and Pattern, Exam Schedule, Weightage & Marking Scheme
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi, has concluded the IPU CET 2026 exams on May 23, starting from April 25, 2026. The results and the final answer key were announced in several stages on May 3, 10, 17, and 22 for exams held from April 25 to May 17 (except May 23 exams).

IPU CET 2026 Result Dates
GGSIPU released the IPU CET results along with the final answer keys in various slots, depending on each exam day.
Students can download their results online from the official website in a PDF format, starting from May 3 for exams held on April 25 and 26, in the first batch.
The second batch of results was released on May 10 for exams held on May 2 and 3.
The third batch of results was released on May 17 for exams held on May 9 and 10.
The fourth batch of results was released on May 22 for exams held on May 16 and 17, 2026.
The final batch of results for exams held on May 23 will be released soon in early June 2026, along with the answer key. The IPU rank list for 2026 will be available on the university's official website.

IPU CET 2026 Counselling Dates
The IPU CET 2026 counselling has already started in the offline mode for UG courses from May 19, which will last till June 26, 2026, while online counselling will start from June 2 and continue till August 3, 2026.
Students who seek admission to Postgraduate courses through IPU CET 2026 can apply for online counselling from June 2, which will conclude on August 3, 2026, while offline counselling will run from June 3 to August 13, 2026.

Release of the provisional answer key
GGSIPU released the provisional answer key and response sheets hand-in-hand for exams held from April 25 to May 23, 2026, on the same day, followed by launching the objection window just 3 days apart for each exam. Each challenge window lasted for 3 days, starting from April 25 to 28, 2026.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi, conducted the IPU CET 2026 exams from April 25 to May 23, 2026, across 78 exam centres. They released the exact IPU CET 2026 exam dates for a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs on April 20, 2026.
The exact dates for the exam were released on April 20, 2026, along with the admit cards for exams taking place on April 25 and 26, 2026, while admit cards for the remaining exams were released on April 27 and May 3, 10, and 17. Students had until May 23, 2026, to download their admit cards from ipu.ac.in.
The IPU CET 2026 exams took place on April 25 and 26, and May 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, and 23, 2026, in various slots, including 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, and 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
The majority of the exams were held in Delhi NCR, but there were also exams held in Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow, and Kolkata. 50531 students from 78 courses took the test over the course of several sessions.
The IPU CET 2026 registration window was made accessible on the official website, ipu.ac.in, on February 2, 2026. The IPU CET 2026 application form was originally planned to conclude on March 31, 2026, which was later extended to April 11, 2026. The registration link for the IPU CET is also accessible at ipu.admissions.nic.in.
GGSIPU provided no correction facility window for students to make changes to their submitted IPU CET 2026 application form. So students had to do it correctly on the first attempt to mitigate the risk of rejection of the application.
To give each program a particular testing date, the entrance exams are administered course-wise during this time rather than on a single day. For both undergraduate and graduate programs, the entrance exam was administered in Pen-and-Paper mode using OMR sheets.
The IPU CET score determines admission to IPU University's BTech (Biotechnology), Lateral Entry to BTech programs for diploma holders, Lateral Entry to BTech programs for BSc graduates, and other UG courses like BBA, B.Com, BCA, BJMC, etc.
The IPU CET Result 2026 were released on May 3, 10, 17, and 22, 2026, while May 23 results will be released in early June 2026.
The IPU CET 2026 counselling for UG courses started on May 19 in offline mode and will run till June 26, while online counselling will run from June 2 to August 3, 2026. For PG courses, both online and offline counselling will take place from June 2 to August 3, and from June 3 to August 13, 2026, respectively.
The NEET exam was cancelled this year, but GGSIPU will wait for the re-test for admission to MBBS/BDS courses. GGSIPU will not conduct its own entrance exam to determine admission to MBBS/BDS programs.
Admission to BBA/LLB and BA/LLB at GGSIPU is based on CLAT results.
JEE Mains 2026 results will be used to determine admission in engineering courses in GGSIPU except B.Tech Biotechnology, Lateral Entry to B. Tech programs for Diploma holders, and Lateral Entry to BTech programs for BSc Graduates.

The exact dates for the IPU CET 2026 were released on April 20, 2026, along with the initial batch of admit cards for exams held on April 25 and 26, 2026. IPU CET 2026 Answer Key Dates
The IPU CET 2026 provisional answer key and response sheet were released in several stages on the same day after each exam was concluded, along with initiating the challenge window, while the final answer key was released on May 3, 2026, only for exams held on April 25 and 26, 2026. The final answer key for the rest of the subjects will be released in the last week of May 2026.

The IPU CET 2026 Result were made public by the authorities along with final answer key in several batches on May 3, 10, 17, and 22 while the exams continued till May 23. The May 23 results will be released soon in early June 2026.
In the first week of June 2026, the IPU Rank list for a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses are expected to be announced. The IPU CET 2026 cut-off and merit list will be made public in the PDF format.

Revaluation of IP University Results for 2026
Candidates may request a re-evaluation of the answer sheet if their Indraprastha University results are not satisfactory. The IP University 2026 reassessment results will be available offline. Additionally, candidates must use a debit card, credit card, or net banking to pay a processing charge for IP University revaluation. Here are some guidelines for completing the revaluation process.
How Can I Apply for the 2026 IP University Revaluation Results?
- After the results are announced, candidates should make sure to ask for a revaluation within five working days.
- Candidates must list their complaints in a proforma and submit it with a cost of Rs. 1000 in order for the OMR answer sheet, question paper booklet, and answer key to be rechecked.
- The fees must be deposited as a bank challan at an Indian bank on the campus of the institution.
- The university will consider the candidate's dissatisfaction. If the university deems the objections legitimate, the candidate's scores will be adjusted.
IPU CET 2026 Counselling Dates
GGSIPU already began the offline counselling for UG courses from May 19, till June 26, 2026, while online counselling will run from June 2 to August 3, 2026. The online and offline counselling for PG courses will run from June 2 to August 3, 2026, and from June 3 to August 13, 2026, respectively.
The cut-off and merit list will be announced separately by different GGSIPU-affiliated colleges, along with a separate counselling process.
Depending on how well they did on the admission exam, students may be chosen for the counseling procedure.

IPU CET 2026 Exam Pattern & Weightage
The university's admission exam follows a set format, known as the IPU CET 2026 Exam Pattern. The IPU CET Exam takes 150 minutes to complete and is given online.
The IPU CET will be administered in Hindi for B.Ed. students, although the exam will only be administered in English. There will be 100 questions altogether, worth 400 points, based on 12th-grade subjects like math, geography, English, and computer science, per previous years' IPU CET exam patterns.
