IPU CET 2025 Eligibility & Reservation – Know the Criteria before Applying

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is expected to make the IPU CET 2025 eligibility public in February 2025 along with the formal notification.

Age Requirement for IPU CET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To enroll in any course offered by IP University, candidates must be at least eighteen years old. The table below illustrates this.

IPU CET 2025 Eligibility Requirements for Undergraduate (UG) Programs

The table below shows the IPU CET 2025 eligibility for UG programs for candidates who wish to enroll in UG courses.

IPU CET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology

Candidates must have completed their 12th grade with a minimum cumulative grade of 50% using the CBSE or comparable 10+2 pattern.

Additionally, they must have passed the qualifying exam in English, either core, elective, or functional.

BA English

Candidates must have completed their 12th grade with English as a required subject in the 10+2 level exam with a minimum cumulative score of 50% from an approved state and central government board (such as CBSE).

B.Ed. and B.Ed. (Special Education)

Candidates must have earned at least 50% of their aggregate marks in a bachelor's or master's degree in the social sciences, humanities, or sciences, or they must have earned at least 55% of their marks in a bachelor's degree in technology or engineering with a focus on math and science, or any other comparable degree.

Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com.)

Candidates must have passed five subjects (four optional courses plus one language) and received a 50% overall score in their 10+2 or SSC exams administered by the CBSE board or its equivalent.

Passing five theory (written) subjects on an intermediate exam from any Indian university, board, or exam that is accepted as an equivalent.

Exams comparable to the 10+2 CBSE exam or Indian University were administered by foreign universities or boards.

Five theoretical (written) subjects were passed in the twelve-year Indian School Certificate Examination administered by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination.

BA Economics

Candidates must have received a minimum aggregate score of 50% on their 10+2 level exam from an accredited federal and state authority. English and mathematics ought to have been required courses for the 10+2 level test.

B.Sc. Medical Technology - Radio Technology

Candidates must have earned at least a 55% overall in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in their 12th grade (10+2) under the CBSE board or its equivalent. Additionally, each of these subjects must have been passed by the candidates.

Candidates must have passed the qualifying exam in core, elective, and functional English. Or, following the previously indicated twelfth-grade exams, candidates must have earned a Diploma in Radiotherapy Technology with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Each of these subjects must have been passed by them. They also need to have worked in radiotherapy for at least five years.

B.Sc Nursing

Candidates must have completed the 10+2 pattern of the CBSE board's 12th grade with physics, chemistry, and biology as subjects from a board other than the CBSE but comparable. Additionally, candidates must have received at least 50% of the aggregate marks in biology, chemistry, and physics. Candidates also need to be successful in each of these subjects.

Only single female candidates are eligible for the program.

Additionally, candidates must have passed their qualifying exam in core, optional, and functional English.

PARA (Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics, B.Sc. Medical Lab Technology, Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, Bachelor of Physiotherapy)

Candidates must have completed their 12th grade in the CBSE board's 10+2 pattern with at least 50% in physics, chemistry, and biology. Each of these subjects must have been passed by the candidates.

Additionally, they must to have completed the qualifying exam in English, Core, Functional, and Elective.

MA Economics

A bachelor's degree in economics or its equivalent from a university recognized by the UGC with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50% is required of candidates.

Master of Arts (Criminology)

Graduation from any university recognized by the UGC with a minimum final exam score of 50%

Master in Conservation, Preservation and Heritage Management, Master in Archaeology and Heritage Management

Candidates must have earned a three-year degree in any of the following fields: science, commerce, or humanities. Nonetheless, applicants may also be students who are sitting for the third-year final test.

Applicants must have graduated from an accredited Indian or international university. Alternatively, the student must have earned a degree through an exam or meet any other requirements periodically set forth by the university.

MA English

A bachelor's degree in any field must be earned by candidates with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50%.

Master Occupational Therapy Neurology

Candidates must have completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Neurology) program at an accredited university with an overall score of at least 50%.

Master of Prosthetics and Orthotics

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited university with at least a 50% overall grade in the Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics degree.

Master of Science Environment Management

Candidates must have earned a B.E., B.Tech., or B.Sc. (Engg.) in Chemical/Agricultural Engg/Civil with a minimum aggregate of 50%, or a B.Sc. degree or its equivalent.

Master of Physiotherapy

Applicants must have completed a four-and-a-half-year Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree (including an internship) with a minimum cumulative grade of 50%. Or a 3.5-year Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree (including an internship) with a minimum cumulative score of 50% plus a one-year bridge course from an accredited university with 50%.

M.Sc Nursing

Candidates must have graduated from an Indian Nursing Council-approved institution with a minimum cumulative score of 55% in their B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing, B.Sc. Nursing, or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing program.

The candidate must hold a State Nursing Registration Council registration as a registered nurse, midwife, or equivalent.

Candidates need to be in good health.

Master of Science Forensic Sciences

Candidates must have completed a recognized university with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50% in Applied Physics, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Toxicology, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Biology (Zoology, Genetics, Botany, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Physical Anthropology).

Or a minimum three-year B.Sc. degree from an accredited university with at least 50% of the aggregate marks. A B.Sc. in Forensic Science from an accredited university with a minimum aggregate of 50% is also required, as is a minimum of two subjects from the first year of the three-year program in any of the following: a) Physics b) Math or Statistics c) Chemistry d) Biology (Zoology or Genetics or Botany or Biotechnology or Biochemistry or Physical Anthropology) or a minimum of 50% in a B.Tech program in Civil, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Chemical, or Computer Science from an accredited university.

M.Sc Natural Resource Management

Candidates should have earned a minimum of 50% of their B.Sc. degree in physical sciences, earth sciences, life sciences, environmental sciences, agriculture, geography, and economics.

Master of Education

Candidates having an undergraduate degree (with at least 50% marks) and at least a 50% aggregate score or a grade equivalent thereto in any of the following exams: B.Ed., B.A. B.Ed., B.Sc. B.Ed., B.El.Ed., or D.El.Ed.

M.Sc Biodiversity & Conservation

A B.Sc. degree in Botany, Biotechnology, Zoology, Anthropology, Biochemistry, or any other area of the life sciences, or an equivalent degree with at least 50% of the aggregate marks, is required of candidates.

IPU CET 2025 Eligibility for B.Tech Biotechnology

Eligibility Requirements: IPU CET 2025 is only acceptable for admission to B.Tech Bio-Technology in the engineering field. Candidates seeking admission to other B. Tech courses must appear for JEE Main 2025 paper 1.

A candidate must finish class 12 in 10+2 CBSE Pattern or its equivalent with at least 55% of the aggregate marks in math, physics, and chemistry, passing each subject independently.

Candidates should pass the core, elective, and functional English exams in addition to PCM.

IPU CET 2025 Eligibility for MBA at GGSIPU

The IPU CET 2025 eligibility criteria for the MBA program are listed below.

Qualifications: Applicants must possess

  • Any accredited bachelor's degree in any field that lasts three years or longer and has at least 50% overall
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or any other field with at least 50% of the aggregate marks, or a credential that is accepted as an equivalent with at least 50% of the aggregate marks.
  • Passed the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England, or the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England's Final Examination.

In addition to the aforementioned, the candidate must have completed 10+2 mathematics coursework to be eligible for the MBA program in financial analysis.

Students must also clear the CAT exam.

IPU CET 2025 Eligibility for BA LLB/BBA LLB

The requirements for admission to the BA LLB/BBA LLB programs through IPU CET 2025 are listed below.

  • Eligibility Requirements: To apply for the program, candidates must have met the minimal requirements listed below for IPU CET 2025:
  • Completed class 12 with a minimum cumulative grade of 50%.
  • Should have earned a core, elective, or functional English grade.

Is Math Required for the IPU CET in Class 12?

You can enroll in a variety of undergraduate and graduate engineering, law, and management programs through the IPU CET. Therefore, not all streams require math in class 12. Math is required for entrance to B.Tech or B.E programs. You must verify the eligibility requirements for each course before applying.
