June 23
The CUET UG Results are out. NTA released the scorecards on June 23, 2026. Students can go check out their scorecards on the official website. NTA also released the toppers’ list, category/gender-wise list of candidates who scored 100 percent, along with the major statistics.
June 21
On June 21, 2026, NTA published the final answer key. 44 questions had multiple right answers, and a total of 7 questions were removed from the final answer key.
June 11
The provisional answer key challenge window was ended by NTA at 11:50 PM on June 11, 2026.
June 9
On June 9, 2026, NTA published the preliminary answer key and response sheets for every subject. This marked the beginning of the challenge period, during which students could submit their objections for a price of INR 200 each.
June 6 and 7, 2026
The postponed tests on May 28 and 30, 2026, were successfully administered by NTA. The CUET UG 2026 examinations were finished.
June 1
The admission cards for the June 6 and 7 examinations, which were initially scheduled for May 28 and 30, 2026, were published by NTA.
May 30
Due to technical issues and delays related to testing partners, TCS iON, 3765 applicants were unable to take the exam. Later, the tests were moved to June 6 and 7, 2026.
May 27
The May 31 test admission cards were made available by NTA.
May 24
Due to scheduling conflicts with the Eid-Ul-Zuha celebration, NTA rescheduled the May 28 examinations for June 6 and 7, 2026.
May 5 to 7, 2026 – City Slip Change Window
The National Testing Agency (NTA) provided CUET UG applicants with a unique rectification and city re-allocation opportunity between May 5 and May 7, 2026. This made it possible for students to amend their Examination State, City, Date, and Shift, subject to availability, especially those who were allocated exam locations hundreds of kilometres away from their choices.
A new city slip and admission card will be given to these candidates.
May 5, 2026 – Admit Card Release
The admit cards were first made available by NTA on May 5, 2026. On May 9, 2026, students who had complained about inaccurate information on their admission cards were given updated cards.
On May 27, 2026, the updated admit cards for the May 31 examinations were made available, and on June 1, 2026, the admit cards for the June 6 and 7 tests (which were rescheduled from May 28 and 30) were made available.
Depending on the exam date and format, the admission cards were distributed in many batches.
Exams were administered in two distinct shifts: morning from 9 AM to 12 PM and evening from 3 PM to 6 PM.
April 30, 2026 – Window for PwD to choose scribe
The official CUET UG update was announced on April 30 by the National Testing Agency (NTA), which also opened an online site for people with disabilities (PwD/PwBD) to submit their scribe data. The deadline for enrolment was May 5, 2026.
April 29, 2026 – Advanced City intimation slip release
NTA released the advanced city intimation slip for CUET UG exams set to take place from May 11 to 31, 2026. Students can download their city slips from the official website to view their exam centre, exam location, exam slot, and exam city.
NTA also released the complete CUET UG exam schedule on the same day.
April 17 to 19, 2026 – Special subject change window
The separate window to change subjects was launched on April 17 and closed on April 19 at 11:50 PM, enabling enrolled applicants to switch the subjects they had previously chosen to take the test.
In response to several requests from candidates to alter the subjects, the subject modification window was reopened. Students may change previously chosen subjects at no cost, but they have to pay an additional INR 400 for new subjects. The cost varies depending on the category, including INR 375 for the OBC/EWS category and INR 350 for the SC/ST category.
February 23 to 26, 2026 – Reopened registration window
Previously, NTA reopened the application window from February 23 to 26, 2026, without offering any correction facility to allow candidates who missed the original deadline of February 4, 2026, to apply for the exam.
The exact dates for the exams, city slip, and admit cards will be released in the last week of April 2026 or early May 2026.
CUET UG 2026 Registration Dates
The initial dates for applicants to fill out their CUET application form 2026 were January 30, 2026, and were extended from February 4, 2026, up to 11:50 PM. Candidates had to pay their registration fee by January 31, 2026, till 11:50 PM, which was also extended to February 7, 2026. The notification to extend the dates were released on January 30, 2026, just a day before the initial last date for registration.
The CUET 2026 exam dates and application form were released on the official website - cuetug.ntaonline.in, along with the official notification on January 3, 2026. The CUET UG 2026 exams are set to take place from May 11 to 31, 2026.
The correction window to allow applicants to make changes in their forms was also extended from February 9 to 11, 2026, up to 11:50 PM, which was initially planned from February 2 to 4, 2026. No correction window was provided for the reopened application window of February 23 to 26, 2026.
The CUET UG counselling will begin soon, as the results have been announced.
CUET UG is administered by the NTA to allow applicants seeking admission to central, state, and other universities to be evaluated for admission in various undergraduate courses. The subject-wise CUET 2026 exam dates were released on April 29, 2026, along with the city slips, followed by the release of the admit cards on May 5, 2026.

Duration of the CUET UG Exams 2026
The CUET 2026 exam was administered by NTA in 2 regular shifts each day. All of the papers on the CUET exam took 60 minutes to complete. In contrast, each subject/CUET test paper used to take 45 to 60 minutes in the past.
CUET exam times and slots were published by NTA along with the CUET city slips on April 29, 2026. The precise dates and length of the CUET exam for each test paper were also released on the same day.
CUET Application Form Dates 2026
The CUET UG application form window was opened on January 3, 2026, along with the notification, at cuetug.ntaonline.in. As per the new notification released on January 30, 2026, The CUET application form was initially planned to be concluded on January 30, which was extended to February 4, 2026, up to 11:50 PM.
The last date to pay the fee was also extended to February 7, 2026, up to 11:50 PM, which was extended from February 4, 2026.
The correction window was extended from February 2 to 4, 2026, to February 9 to 11, 2026, up to 11:50 PM.
The application window was reopened from February 23 to 26, 2026, without any correction window facility.
NTA opened a special subject change window from April 17 to 19, 2026, to allow registered candidates to change the subjects they previously selected.
The application form must be completed and submitted before the CUET deadline in 2026. Only candidates who have paid their application fee will be allowed to sit for the exam. CUET Application Form 2026 Correction Window Dates
The CUET registration 2026 window closed on February 11, 2026, as per the renewed dates released on January 30, 2026. The CUET UG rectification window 2026 remained active from February 9 to 11, 2026, after it was extended from February 2 to 4, 2026
Despite providing a correction window, NTA also provides a special subject change window from April 17 to 19, 2026, after countless requests made by the registered candidates, so they can change the subjects they previously selected for which they wished to appear.
After successfully applying, only registered candidates were able to change the information. The following fields can be modified by registered candidates during the CUET 2026 correction window:
- Candidate name
- Parent's or Guardian's name
- Class 10th & 12th details
- Date of birth
- Gender & category
- Photograph
- Signature
- Examination city (based on present or permanent address)
Apart from these changes, if students want to add more subjects or change their category, they might be charged with an extra INR 400 per subject.
CUET City Intimation Slip Dates 2026
NTA typically provides information about the designated exam cities on the city notification slip for the CUET exam dates. It was released on April 29, 2026, just 6 days before the release of the CUET admit card on May 5, 2026.
It is not the admit card, according to NTA. The purpose of the CUET city notification slip is to assist applicants in getting ready for their commute or journey on exam day.
CUET Admit Card 2026 Dates
Only registered candidates for the CUET 2026 exam were allowed to download their CUET admit card 2026 released on May 5, 2026. NTA released the revised CUET admit cards on May 9 and 10, 2026, after several candidates complained about discrepancies in their city code.
Up to the exam's final day, the admission cards may still be downloaded.
However, applicants who sat the exam on May 31, 2026, got their admission cards on May 27, 2026.
Due to Eid-UL-Zuha on May 24, the May 28 examinations were delayed until June 6 and 7, 2026. Additionally, 3765 applicants had their tests rescheduled for June 6 and 7, 2026, after they were unable to take them on May 30 owing to technological difficulties.
On June 1, 2026, the admission cards for the May 28 and May 30 examinations (which have been rescheduled for June 6 and 7) were made available.
CUET 2026 Response Sheet Dates Provisional Answer Key
Response sheets and provisional answer key were released on June 9, 2026, and remained available to download for students until June 11, 2026, up to 11:50 PM. It contains all the correct answers that a candidate marked on the CUET exam to allow them to get an estimate of their scores before the final result is made public. It also allows candidates to challenge answers they consider invalid. Each challenge incurs a fee of INR 200.
The CUET 2026 provisional answer key and response sheet remained active from June 9 to 11, 2026, followed by the release of the final answer key on June 21, 2026. The CUET 2026 response sheet displays the applicants' tried question paper and their graded exam answers.
CUET UG 2026 Final Answer Key
The CUET final answer key 2026 was made available on the official website, cuet.ntaonline.in, by the NTA on June 21, 2026. The CUET final answer key was made public after all the objections raised by the applicants against the provisional answer key were rectified, after which no requests for re-evaluation will be entertained.
In the final answer key, NTA removed 7 questions and approved multiple correct answers to 44 questions across all subjects.
The final answer key was used by NTA to prepare the CUET results.
CUET 2026 Result Dates
The CUET UG 2026 result was released on June 23, 2026, just 2 days after the release of the final answer key. Candidates who took the CUET entrance exam in 2026 can see their results on the official CUET website.
Applicants must provide their application number and date of birth to receive the NTA CUET result. The CUET result includes the candidates' CUET UG exam scores, which they can use to get admission to any of the participating universities.

- One (01) candidate got a perfect score in four of the five selected subjects.
- In three of their selected subjects, twenty-two candidates got perfect scores.
- In two of their chosen fields, 180 candidates got a perfect score.
- 3,214 candidates obtained a 100 percentile score in one of the fields they selected.
CUET Cut-off 2026 Dates
The number of candidates in each category, the number of seats available for particular courses, the candidates' CUET results, and other considerations all play a role in determining the CUET UG cut-off, which will soon be published by each participating university. CUET Merit List 2026 Dates
