This recently added Specialization in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence), is starting from the session 2021. This specialization is very much in the demand. Artificial Intelligence (AI), as we know, enables machines to learn from experience, adjust to new inputs and perform human-like tasks. Most AI examples that you hear about today – from carom playing computers to self-driving vehicles – rely heavily on Deep Learning and natural language processing. Using these technologies, computers can be trained to accomplish specific tasks by intelligence processing large amounts of data and recognizing patterns in the data. This course discusses AI approaches in diverse fields, including neural networks, signal processing, control, and data mining, in order to present an amalgamated management of machine learning problems and solutions. Hence, this specialization enables students to build intelligent machines, software, or applications with a cutting-edge combination of machine learning and visualization technologies.

Eligibility Criteria

Four-year B. Tech CSE in Data Science

Direct Admission: Interested candidates for direct admission must complete the 10+2 exam or its equivalent from any recognized board or school with a minimum percentage of 45% for the General Category or 40% for the SC/ST Category without honours in Mathematics, Physics, and one of the optional subjects in Chemistry, Biology, or Computer Science.

With UPSEE Guidance: Candidates are shortlisted based on their JEE (Main) scores for admission to B. Tech CSE in Data Science program beginning in the academic year 2025–2026.

Three-year B. Tech Lateral Entry Program, Second Year

Applicants for the general category must have received a B.Sc. or diploma in engineering with an aggregate score of 45%, or 40% for those in the SC/ST category. These seats are only available to students who have passed the UP or UP Domicile qualifying test..

The campus is decked with a serene environment, well-tuned for the students and their needs. It has state-of-the-art laboratories and equipment for all the courses we offer.

In GNC, Lecture Hall and rooms are architecturally and aesthetically well designed and are well ventilated. LIBRARY

Library plays a very healthy role throughout our life. It provides a very calm and disciplined atmosphere which helps students to maintain a good concentration on their studies and healthy environment for learning as well as making notes or completing an assignment. GNC Library provides fully air-conditioned & Wi-Fi enabled world-class learning environment. The College has a well-stocked library having nearly 5850 of Text and Reference books with 641 titles and a good number of (20) National / International Journals; magazines and daily newspapers. The library has very rich collections of e-books, online resources to fulfil the research and teaching need of the academic community and audio-video facilities are also provided in the library to facilitate the research and teaching learning activities. There are 04 total numbers of Newspapers. The library has been using the Campus ERP library management software for the library housekeeping operations.
